It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

The first day of school. Aaah. Homework, schedules, soccer, football. But the best thing about my children being back at school is they eat their food, use their computers, and whine to their adults in charge.
I am thrilled with the knowledge that I will not return from work to find that all 36 of my water glasses have been used (my estimate is one time each). The reward of having my children back in school is almost wasted on me this year as I have a job. I knew this working thing was a bad idea. Oh well, I guess the dog will enjoy the peace and quiet.
On an upbeat note, McKenna and a girlfriend walked up and down the beach this weekend and collected over $200 for the hurricane victims. Not too shabby for two eleven year olds. They decided they would also buy a big box of chocolate bars at the discount store and sell them at the high school football games. I'm so proud of their initiative.
Surety Title (Chip's employer) is matching every contribution made by an employee so that will be the way we will do our part. I also hear the Red Cross is in desperate need of blood so I'll try to get there to make a "donation" as I have very friendly blood.

A fantastic blog. Keep it up. Here's the resolve a lot of people are searching for; how to buy & sell everything, like toy and baby on interest free credit; pay whenever you want.
WOW, I so admire your children raising money for hurricane relief. That's a wonderful act and they must be very sensitive and giving. I also agree "it's the most, wonderful time...of the year" just like that Staples commercial I adore (with the happy dad dancing).
